Sometimes it becomes very difficult to keep the old farm tools and equipment on a place that are no real use and are complete waste. But it is also true that all those can be turned into art pieces. It is what John Lopez was moved by and managed to turn his tools into amazing animals.
Once he was a bronze sculptor he later came to know that he can turn scrap metal into just anything he wants. Now, he believes sculptures contain a unique aestheticism that gives fine end products if done artistically and meticulous knowledge. Lopez belong to South Dakota and is deeply in love with Western folklore and culture. His masterpieces are totally intricate and look much alive just live any other animal.
Lopez, believes texturing such creations is the best part, “I just start grabbin’ stuff from the pile and welding it, in and if you weld enough of the same thing on over and over it creates this really cool texture that I’ve never seen in these kinds of pieces before.
