Cynthia Bennett is an avid hiker, her boyfriend had adopted a dog named Henry back in 2014. Bennett rather liked to have a golden retriever mix but after becoming across Henry she put all other ideas on back-burner. He was just 14 weeks old but looked way too big than other pups of his age. When she entered his pen, he curled up into her lap. It was then when she decided to adopt him.
“I think we only had him for three days when we took him on our first hike,” Bennett told The Dodo. “He found the steepest, tallest rock around, and he ran up to the top of it to look over the edge.” That’s why they started calling him their “little mountain goat.”
It was just few months ago the couple made their mind to adopt an other pet. Specially, Bennett, badly wanted a rescue kitten, after searching for long five months various shelters they came across Siamese kitten mix “Baloo.”
When they introduced kitten to Henry, they immediately fell in love with one an other. Henry, liked the kitten and start playing.
It wasn’t long when Baloo started going on their first trip with the family. “I get a lot of questions about how we got him used to it. But he really loves it. He really wants to go outside,” Bennett said. “If I touch Henry’s leash, [Baloo] will start screaming at the door.”
