Millennials have been choosing pets over kids for thousands of reasons of their own, from cost (an average of $3085 per annum for raising a dog, to $12-14,000 per year for raising a child child) to a far more freedom, ground breaking companionship and for many other reasons including keep wiping them every time they pee or poop.
However everyone is not of the same opinion and thinks that this is a good thing practically, these two things are absolutely different that such comparison is just foolishness. It is also a fact that when we come back from a job that would not offer the same benefits and securities as our prents grew up with, then which should be the option to choose? Either a fluffy pet who awaits your arrival to just play with your a baby that needs to be taken care of, cooked for, wiped, homework and the list goes on and on.
